I like the 2nd photo and how curious the figure looks in it. I feel like since its all the same person the artist set up a tripod and took pictures of the person doing different positions and actions for each frame them photo shopped them all together. It looks like the picture could have a story line that the person in the picture is trying to find something in the forest.

I like the picture with the kids in the in the yellow rain jackets. The kids like like they could be in a cult and they are carrying their next sacrifice (on of the boys in uniform) on a stick. I think the pint of this picture is just comedic value.

I think the first picture is really random in my opinion, obviously sometime around Christmas. I'm guessing the artist kinda put the people where they want them to be and how to interact but also letting the subjects pose how they want. I think the point is showing how insane and crazy it is around the holidays. I don't think it's something that has a big message around the image. Maybe it was just something they did for fun as a holiday thing to get people in the spirit.

I picked the raincoat photo as it was more to my taste of the two. I looked at both photos and knew that it was different photos put in one to make a cool effect. I first thing I thought was, that is one interesting camping trip. It may contain to the different wonders of camping or maybe something way far off.

I think the second photo has some good contrast. The vibrant yellow coats contrast the bland colored trees. I would guess the artist took multiple photos, and mashed them all together. I am unsure of the artist's message

The Chirstmas picture with all the kids caught my attention because there is so much activity going on and color also texture. I think the author captured this image by planing and making several pictures of the kid and the dog and placing them where he wanted. I think his message is that maybe some holidays can be a disaster or a pain.

I like the top picture because the trees on fire. It shows all the bad things about Christmas. I would say that he or she has a big crazy family. It looks like Christmas is always a crazy time.

I find the bottom one interesting because I like the idea behind the photo and how the yellow rain jackets pop out. I see the message in this photo as cannibal or how we would hunt each other for survival.

The second picture catches my eye a lot more than the first, for some reason it leaves me with a weird creepy feeling I dislike. I am guessing the artist took many photos of someone in the same background and layered it with some touch ups in photoshop. I don't feel like there is any message I am just kind of creeped out by the photo.

The bottom picture is interesting, i like how all of the boys are wearing yellow rain coats exact the one. This photo was composed at night time and they must used so sort of special flash or light to capture all of the colors except the trees. I think the boys are supposed to look lost bc its dark but the photography really knows where they are.

The Christmas photo is very interesting considering there is so many things happening in it. There is a lot of things to look at, which I like. It is really creepy that there are three of the same person though. So I am guessing that he used photoshop to create this image. It might be layers, I think that might be easier but I am not really sure. I think the point he made was trying to convey chaos. This picture is full of hectic actions and what not. All the kids are doing things they shouldn't be doing.

I chose the bottom photo, because it has a Lord of the Flies vibe to it. I like the bright pop of yellow and how there is only one figure depicted in green, as he is being singled out by being tied to the branch. The image looks as though the students are being edited on top of a picture of a forest and the trees and shadows were edited on top of them. I see his point of being that the children are lost and misguided, or tied up in their problems, although the image looks as if the boys are taking the one boy to hold him hostage or kill him.

My reaction to the second photo is confusion. I don't really understand why the person is tied to the limb and being carried. Other than that I think it is a pretty cool picture, I like that it is basically one person in the entire photo but in different spots. I would guess that the artist took the same photo and just had the subject move around and then used photoshop to layer it all together. I think the point was to just have one person in the photo over and over. I personally don't think there is a message in the photo.

I choose the first photograph. My first reaction to this photo is that it looks as if the same person is just multiplied in the photo. I also get a little freaked out looking at this photograph since there are some dangerous stuff going on. I'm assuming that this artist used photoshop to make this photo. I have no idea what the point is behind the photograph. I think they're maybe trying to show what they think happens on christmas morning or something?
ReplyDeleteThompson, L
I really like the second color because it shows a lot of change in contrast and color. I am guessing he made most of the photos in photoshop. I think the point is to have a really busy picture. the first one is like a bad christmas.

I picked the top photograph. My first reaction when I saw this photo was that there is a lot going on and a lot of red.
ReplyDeleteI think the artist took separate pictures with each person doing what they are doing in this background. Then used photoshop to put it all together to look like he took it as one picture.
I don't know what the point or message would be in this photo. Maybe to emphasize all the different things that happen on this holidays morning, and that everyone is so wrapped up in what they are doing that nobody is paying attention to what each individual person is doing.

The first photo caught my eye the most because of all the red going on. My first reaction was that is was chaotic and there was a lot of crazy things happening with in the photo.
ReplyDeleteI think the artist constructed these images in a way that made you think. I think maybe his point was to show chaos and edited to make you think about what is going on. His point is maybe to show how bad we are within a group of ages.

I find the holiday photo very interesting. I love its originality and creativity. I enjoy seeing all the different activity in the photo and what each and every kid is doing. I love how the red pops out in the photo. My only issue is that it seems that the dogs are stretched out because of low shutter speed. I believe his point was to show the stupidty of children in out generation.
